Begin with the serving

A capsule count is not necessarily a serving count. A 60-capsule bottle could contain 60 one-capsule servings or 30 two-capsule servings. Use the label rather than the bottle size to compare cost per serving. For the supplied FEMICORE image, the stated serving is one capsule and the container has 30 servings.

Read the suggested use separately. It may contain timing or use instructions not expressed in the Supplement Facts table. Do not assume that a serving statement means the product is suitable for everyone.

Read a blend as a blend

If several ingredients share one total weight, the individual amounts remain unknown unless disclosed elsewhere. Dividing the total evenly is not a valid transcription. A standardization percentage attached to one extract cannot be applied to the entire blend without knowing how much of that extract is included.

Look beyond the front panel

Other ingredients matter for dietary restrictions and tolerability. Capsule materials, carriers, and processing aids may appear outside the main table. Read caution and storage statements, then compare the delivered bottle with the version you reviewed online.

A front-panel phrase about research is not a substitute for reading the actual paper. Neither a brand name nor a manufacturing statement establishes a clinical benefit. The FDA’s supplement overview explains the regulatory context.

Turn missing details into questions

Ask the seller for the current label, the amount of an ingredient relevant to your decision, and probiotic viability information where applicable. If those details are unavailable, leave them unknown. Do not estimate them from the order of a marketing ingredient list.

Use the FEMICORE label page as a worked example, and read the formula interpretation to see how label facts differ from evidence claims.
